Dynamic: the code points to a short My QR Studio link, so you can change the destination later without reprinting. Static: your content is stored inside the code itself. It works offline and never expires, but can’t be edited after printing.

Scanners need empty space around the code. 4 modules is the standard.

Why My QR Studio

Everything a QR code needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

50 types, one engine

Websites, Wi-Fi, vCards, UPI, menus, coupons, multi-link pages and more. Each type has the right fields, validates your data and builds the exact format scanners expect.

Made on our own servers

Every code is drawn by our own engine. No third-party QR APIs, no data handed to anyone else.

Scan-safety checks

We check contrast, logo size and the quiet zone while you design, and offer one-click fixes.

Print-ready exports

SVG for print, plus PNG, JPG or WebP up to 4096 px — sharp on a business card or a billboard.

Your brand, built in

Five patterns, five eye styles, gradients, your logo and frames with a call to action.

Dynamic when you need it

Change where a printed code points, pause it, or give it an expiry date — no reprint.

Dynamic QR

Change your destination without printing a new QR.

A dynamic code points to a short My QR Studio link. The link decides where people go, so a printed menu, poster or package keeps working when your URL changes. Pause a code or set an expiry date, and scanners see a clear message instead of a dead page.

Analytics Coming later

Scan insights, when they’re ready.

Dynamic codes already record anonymous scan events — device type, operating system and browser family, with the IP address replaced by a hash that changes daily. A dashboard to explore them is on the way. Until then, we won’t show you numbers we can’t stand behind.

FAQ

Good questions.

Straight answers about static and dynamic codes, logos, sizes and privacy.

All questions
Is My QR Studio free to use?

Yes. You can create, customise and download QR codes in every supported format without an account.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

A static code stores your content directly in the pattern, so it works offline and never expires, but can’t be changed after printing. A dynamic code stores a short My QR Studio link; the link decides where people go, so the destination can be updated later without reprinting.

Will my QR code still scan with a logo in the middle?

Yes, when it’s set up correctly. We clear the modules behind your logo and switch error correction to H, which lets scanners recover up to 30% of the code. If the logo is too large for reliable scanning, we tell you and offer a one-click fix.

Which format should I download?

Use SVG for print — it’s a vector and stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for web, documents and presentations. JPG and WebP are useful where file size matters. PNG, WebP and SVG can have a transparent background.

Do you use a third-party QR API?

No. Codes are encoded and rendered on our own servers with open-source PHP libraries. Your content is never sent to another QR service.

How big should a printed QR code be?

A good rule is at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in) for close-range scanning, and roughly one tenth of the scanning distance for signage — a code read from 2 m away should be about 20 cm wide. Keep a clear margin around it.

Can you tell me how many people scanned my code?

Dynamic codes already record anonymous scan events (hashed IP, device type, browser family). A scan analytics dashboard is coming later; we don’t show numbers until it’s ready.
